In the late 90's and early 2000's, Miami's local hip-hop scene was very united. All the jams and artist showcases would bring the whole scene out, and everyone simultaneously sharpened their skills and learned about hip-hop culture. Since then, we all grew apart and moved on with our lives, starting families and other careers. Buena Gente was the result of Art's 'Media Noche Podcast' commemorating that hip-hop scene we all held so near and dear. Every song features a hip-hop artist from South Florida, and the song's subject matter is inspired by the podcast episode each artist was a guest on. #Miami
