While relocating to Humboldt County, California, Art Morera and longtime producer and collaborator NixonOnTheTrack set to capture their experience of the NorCal lifestyle with songs written and recorded in a small town, with only one convenience store. The disconnect from a big city contrasted their usual day-to-day routines and what resulted was a project about vulnerability, widened perspective, controlling the ego, and retrospect. Afterglow also features Ramon Revere and Royce Rizzy as well as additional guitar compositions by Adam Godlove.
